The Community Emergency Managers Course was developed by the Jewish Agency in collaboration with the Master of Disaster Management of Tel Aviv University. The course is held online with some of the leading academic teams of the program.
This course has been specially tailored to address the various challenges held by leadership across Jewish communities, and collaborative training needs with valued partners from local agencies in the region. The program aims to provide tools for addressing local emergencies, guidance in navigating through crisis situations, and practical solutions to ensure community resilience.
The attack on October 7th not only impacted those of us here in Israel, but has altered the reality for Jewish communities worldwide. The ramifications of the war have been felt acutely and on multiple levels throughout the Jewish world. This course will attempt to address some of these challenges and seeks to provide community leaders and professionals with the tools to reinforce the important and courageous work you are undertaking on a daily basis
Participants will receive a certificate from Tel Aviv University and the Jewish Agency.
