Yehonatan Shvartzman is the Founder & director of Shvartzman & Co. Capacity Development Consulting firm and formerly the Director of the Volunteering Department at the Ministry of Labor & Social Affairs in Israel. Yehonatan have been working for the past 15 years in the development of community resources and the management of volunteer work for the benefit of the society. He has vast experience in creating cross-sectoral collaborations, structuring and promoting the growth of organizations, teamwork, public speaking, innovation and politics.

Alan Gill

Executive Vice President Emeritus, JDC

Alan Gill, is one of the Jewish world's transformative professional leaders. His vision and career have exemplified and put into direct action the notion of global Jewish responsibility. He served as Executive Vice President and CEO of JDC from 2013-2017 before retiring from full-time service and returning home to Israel. With more than four decades of Jewish community development, partnership building, global strategy, and financial resource development expertise, Gill has played a central role in expanding and revolutionizing JDC's humanitarian operation in more than 70 countries and in Israel. A 25-year veteran of JDC, Gill played a leadership role in launching many of JDC's landmark programs.

Chen Cshnabel

Volunteers management and training expert, Latet

Chen Cshnabel is Latet's volunteers management and training expert. Since 2018, Chen and her team of 4 employees are responsible for the recruitment and creation a faithful community of 27,000 volunteers per year who give a hand in Latet’s different programs and initiatives. Beside the retention and training of thousands of volunteers, Chen and her team are in charge of Latet's food drive, happening twice a year before Rosh Hashana and Passover in the Shufersal food chain all across the country, mobilizing thousands of volunteers and raising between 10,000 to 15,000 food packages twice a year to make sure impoverished families have a meal for the High Holidays. Before that, Chen was the Director of Pedagogic Development and training at Latet Youth organization for 5 years, in charge of all the processes and material for the 2500 amazing Latet youth participants. She has a rich background in Youth development, training and youth movement, showing the path for a strong and meaningful social leadership.

Linor Attias

Emergency Officer, Ministry of Justice

Linor Attias is an emergency management specialist in civil society, with over a decade of experience in managing security emergencies crises, leading philanthropic initiatives, leadership, and managerial challenges. Linor holds a master's degree from the Hebrew University in managing non-profit organizations and advanced courses in leadership and civil emergency. Linor is currently an emergency officer in the Ministry of Justice, and a volunteer director-general of the Senior Citizens' Council and works to promote underprivileged populations in Israel. In the past, she managed national feeding programs, resource mobilization operations during times of crisis in the country, and programs to eradicate poverty in Israel, initiated programs for the promotion and empowerment of minorities in Israel and even promoted legislation on various issues.

Dr. Eli Jaffe

Deputy Director General, Magen David Adom

Eli Jaffe, MDA, PhD, EMT-P, is the Deputy Director General of Training, PR, Volunteer Activities, Marketing and International Relations Division, of the Israeli national EMS organization Magen David Adom. He has published books and articles and is an authority in the fields of emergency medicine and medical management, and is also one of the leading researchers in Israel in the field of volunteers and the prevention of PTSD. Dr. Jaffe is a well-known lecturer in the Israeli universities

Ronit Bar

Director of The Israeli National Council for Volunteering

Director of the Israeli National Council for Volunteering, Director and Founder of the Israeli Volunteer Network. Facilitator at the School of Volunteer Management. Ronit is an educator and community and social entrepreneur specializing in volunteer policy as social pedagogy and inter-sector leadership. Managed the JDC Israel-Ashalim Knowledge and Learning Center, and the field of volunteering at JDC Israel. Developed and raised national programs and projects, while promoting inter-sector partnerships. A graduate of the Mendel Institute and certified in school management and organizational consulting, she holds a master's degree in emergency management and a doctoral student who studies inter-sector volunteer policy.

Dr. Einav Levy

Director of The Israeli School of Humanitarian Action

Einav Levy is the Founding Director of The Israeli School of Humanitarian Action and Lucien Research center for Humanitarian Action. He is also the head of the stress and trauma program in Tel- Hai College. Einav is a director and entrepreneur with a profound experience in the interface between civil society organizations and the business, governmental, and academic sectors, and expertise in Humanitarian Action. Einav was a COO of an organization, which promote development in Africa, a CEO of NGO dealing with International Humanitarian Action, and is a founding member of SID-ISRAEL (Society of International Development) and a member of its first board. Currently, Einav is a director at NALA Foundation Board. He led Humanitarian and social missions in countries such as Jordan, Haiti, Serbia, Zambia, Greece and Uganda.

Anva Ratzon

Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Expert

Anva Ratzon is a social worker specializing in Community & Organizational Development and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). Anva works as a freelance consultant focusing on social protection issues for the government, NGO, and private sectors. Since 2012, Anva has led the protection sector in emergency response and international development programs in Israel and around the world, including in Nepal, India, the Philippines, Mozambique, the Bahamas, the US, and more. She is active in various international working groups such as the Global Alliance for Disaster Risk Reduction & Resilience in the Education Sector (GADRRRES) and the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC). Anva regularly presents at global conferences, most recently for the World Health Organization. Anva was the Central Regional Manager for the Israeli Trauma Coalition, working in municipality and professional emergency preparedness, specifically on DRR, the mental health and psych- social aspects and working with IsraAID, Israel’s leading humanitarian aid agency. Anva holds a B.A. in social work, and 2 M.A. degrees – one in Emergency and Disaster Management in Public Health, and one in Organizational and Community Development. She is a yoga instructor and has a diploma in Focusing Therapy with a specialization in trauma. Anva is a reserve officer for the Home Front Command in the Israeli Army, where she has served as a Population Behavior Officer for the last decade.
