Dr. Maurit Beeri

Director General Alyn Hospital

Dr. Maurit Beeri is the Director General of ALYN Hospital Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Center in Jerusalem. Previous to her current position she served as Vice Hospital Director and Head of the Medical Day Care Rehabilitation Department at ALYN. She also heads the Multidisciplinary Clinic for Infants and Children with Feeding Disorders. Dr. Beeri graduated from medical school and is a Board- Certified pediatrician, having trained at Hebrew University Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. She is involved in promoting the concept of Cultural Competency in Health, establishing ALYN Jerusalem as the first culturally competent hospital in Israel. She is also involved in various health and social initiatives to promote the care rights of children with special needs, including the Early Intervention Coalition, which represents over 60 organizations and associations for children with special needs . She holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University as a Wexner Israel Fellow . Maurit is also a board member pf the Haverut NGO for Spiritual care in Health through the arts, and a member of the Board of Overseers of the HUC and a Board Director at the Mevaseret Ziyon Congregation Reform Synagogue (Kamatz).

Linor Attias

Emergency Officer, Ministry of Justice

Linor Attias is an emergency management specialist in civil society, with over a decade of experience in managing security emergencies crises, leading philanthropic initiatives, leadership, and managerial challenges. Linor holds a master's degree from the Hebrew University in managing non-profit organizations and advanced courses in leadership and civil emergency. Linor is currently an emergency officer in the Ministry of Justice, and a volunteer director-general of the Senior Citizens' Council and works to promote underprivileged populations in Israel. In the past, she managed national feeding programs, resource mobilization operations during times of crisis in the country, and programs to eradicate poverty in Israel, initiated programs for the promotion and empowerment of minorities in Israel and even promoted legislation on various issues.

Dr. Hilla Hadas

Executive Director of Enosh - The Israeli Mental Health Association

Dr. Hilla Hadas (Ph.D. in life sciences) has held the role of CEO of Enosh for over a decade. Enosh is the leading mental health organization in Israel, specializing in community-based rehabilitation services for individuals with psychosocial disabilities. Under Dr. Hadas’ leadership, Enosh has become a cutting-edge organization in the field of rehabilitation and recovery for those coping with mental illness. Enosh is a leader in the development of services for this population, allowing integration into the community. Over the years, Dr. Hadas has initiated innovative collaborations with the business sector, higher education institutions as well as local municipalities. These collaborations have resulted in successful business and social ventures, and have broadened the reach of mental health recovery services.

Anva Ratzon

Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Expert

Anva Ratzon is a social worker specializing in Community & Organizational Development and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). Anva works as a freelance consultant focusing on social protection issues for the government, NGO, and private sectors. Since 2012, Anva has led the protection sector in emergency response and international development programs in Israel and around the world, including in Nepal, India, the Philippines, Mozambique, the Bahamas, the US, and more. She is active in various international working groups such as the Global Alliance for Disaster Risk Reduction & Resilience in the Education Sector (GADRRRES) and the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC). Anva regularly presents at global conferences, most recently for the World Health Organization. Anva was the Central Regional Manager for the Israeli Trauma Coalition, working in municipality and professional emergency preparedness, specifically on DRR, the mental health and psych- social aspects and working with IsraAID, Israel’s leading humanitarian aid agency. Anva holds a B.A. in social work, and 2 M.A. degrees – one in Emergency and Disaster Management in Public Health, and one in Organizational and Community Development. She is a yoga instructor and has a diploma in Focusing Therapy with a specialization in trauma. Anva is a reserve officer for the Home Front Command in the Israeli Army, where she has served as a Population Behavior Officer for the last decade.

Mr. Herman is the CEO of ILAN - support services for thousands of children and adults with physical disabilities throughout their lives. Under his management is a nationwide organization including: 38 branches, eight rehabilitation facilities and sports centers; programming and assistance to more than 30 educational institutions.
