Prof. Davidson has trained in psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City between 1981 and 1985 where remained on staff until 1995 and became Professor of Psychiatry. Prof. Davidson has accumulated experience both as an administrator and as a researcher. He has been hospital deputy director both in New York State and in Israel and has contributed to the movement of deinstitutionalization. As a researcher Prof. Davidson has published over 200 articles mostly in peer reviewed prestigious journals in the area of Schizophrenia and of Alzheimer’s disease.
