Idit Michael, Head of Programming and Senior Mental Health Professional, NATAL Global. Former Chief Superintendent of the Mental Health Division of Israel’s Police, where she received the commissioner's token of excellence for her successful strategy to reform the resiliency of the Israel Police.
With over 25 years of experience as a commander, Idit managed mental health professionals for major Israeli organizations, including the Israeli Police, Hadassah Hospital, and drug and alcohol treatment centers. In this role, Idit worked hand-in-hand on partnerships with mental health divisions in security organizations and Israel’s national welfare body.
Following her distinguished career in the police force, Idit joined NATAL as Senior Mental Health Professional and Trainer, working with NATAL’s international team to develop and deliver resiliency training. Idit Michael currently serves as a private clinical therapist, working with patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, including those referred by the Ministry of Defense and the National Insurance Institute. She frequently presents lectures and workshops to police forces and first responder delegations in Israel and worldwide. Idit holds a B.A. in Social Work and English Language and Literature and a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
