JReady’s Community Resilience Mapping
The community resilience mapping is an academic survey that measures a community's resilience level by assessing its members, based on different factors
With community resilience mapping, a community manager can gain critical insight and analysis of the community’s resilience levels.
The survey is distributed to a certain number of members, depending on the community’s size, and can be anonymous.
The community manager, together with JReady, will be analyzing the results to provide the current resilience level of the community as a whole and possible ways to support the community in strengthening the areas that require attention and addressing challenges at both the communal and individual levels.
The questions and scale in the mapping survey were built together with the Master of Disaster Management at Tel Aviv University, with the program’s top faculty, and have been tested in the field for several years now.
The survey can be modified for the community’s specific characteristics, needs, challenges, and infrastructure and is accessible online and offline.
